Clubs & Organizations
Our students actively engage in campus life by participating in numerous and diverse student clubs and organizations. Many of these groups have formed by student initiative to suit the needs and interests of today’s students. Nonetheless, all of the student organizations greatly contribute to campus life.

The Campus Design Studio is a student-run organization that provides high quality graphic design work for student clubs and organizations, on campus departments, and off-campus clients. The Campus Design Studio is responsible for most on-campus student publicity.

The Club Advisory Board (CAB) is responsible for the establishment of new clubs and the allocation of money to registered clubs. CAB is also an information center for any student interested in becoming involved in one of our clubs and organizations.

The student-led Cultural Inclusion Council (CIC) strives to promote equity and inclusion on campus and in the surrounding community by hosting educational and promotional events, connecting students to support services and promoting open dialogue that allows individuals to better understand one another.
CMU-TV is Colorado Mesa University's premiere outlet for news and entertainment. We work diligently to provide the campus and immediate community with free exposure to help grow local business, raise awareness and create exposure.
Using the best equipment in the industry, our productions are of the highest quality. We broadcast directly to campus local channel 62.2 and live stream to YouTube, where all of our latest episodes can be found.
Colorado Mesa University's student-run newspaper, the voice of the students since 1931. We publish photos, articles, comics, and so much more for our student staff. We would love to publish you too!
We are Colorado Mesa University's student-operated magazine, a hands-on opportunity for students who want to exercise their interests in journalism, photography, graphic design, illustration, editing, marketing, advertising, and social media.
Horizon Magazine publishes an issue during the fall and spring semesters, both as a hard copy distributed on campus and as an online version. See past issues at http://issuu.com/horizon.magazine.
We are a CMU anthology publishing works by students for students. Our yearly issues include a variety of literary genres--Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Literary Criticism, and Screenplays--and visual art pieces, all created by CMU students. If you are interested in becoming an author or artist, this is a great way to break into the competitive publishing world and try your hand at writing or illustrating.

KMSA 91.3 FM was established in 1975 in Grand Junction with the goal of providing music lovers with an alternative to the typical hits of our times. At KMSA 91.3 FM, we enjoy creating and offering a broad range of programming that makes us the best and most diverse radio station in Grand Junction. KMSA is a student-run radio station who prides itself in bringing you the best in alternative music. This is music for the Mavericks.
MAVrides is a student-operated, CMU-funded organization that offers FREE rides to CMU students on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm-3am.
The Programming and Activities Council (PAC) Provides high-quality entertainment to enrich the lives of students outside the classroom. This organization collaborates with other Colorado Mesa University organizations in assisting and enhancing programs. PAC provides educational opportunities for students to gain experience in advertising and implementing programs for the Colorado Mesa University community.
